Buying a hoagie reminded me of a very important  business lesson:

Everybody sells!   I went to check out  a new sandwich from a store I frequently shop at.  I asked the lady at the register:  “This is new, any good?” 

She adamantly stated:  (quote) “Yuck, no, that’s horrible I’d NEVER eat that”.  So I said: “Oh you’ve tried it?”  
Her retort: “Ahhh, no, I just don’t eat that kind of food”.   A line of people behind me also heard her comment.

I bought it…and it was good!

Remember:  EVERYBODY sells…sometimes it’s against the company they work for.
