Keep Clam and Carry On

There were a thousand of them at one time.  Howard Johnson’s Restaurants
The last one (in Lake George NY) closed this week.

Famous for their clam strips and coffee ice cream…
I guess we can’t “Keep Clam and Carry On” any more. :0(
You really don’t remember the good of the “good old days” until they’re gone.

PS: Extra points today if you remember sitting at a counter like this one.
