National Dollar Day (8/8)
Today is the day the US money system started back in 1786.
Back in 1900, a dollar could buy 10 boxes of cereal, or a man’s dress shirt, two pounds of chocolate, 70 pounds of potatoes, 7 pounds of steak, a Brownie Camera, or about 7 gallons of gas or 9 bottles of wine…

Many say change is good…but dollars are better.  ;0)
