1,800 years ago…this was the way

While the month of July is named for Julius Caesar, Marcus Aurelius was one of the most respected rulers of the Roman Empire about 1800 years ago.

He gave us 6 thoughts to live by and one unique observation:

1: Your task is to be good
2: If it’s possible, you can do it
3: People do the best they can
4: The obstacle IS the way
5: Applause and fame are worthless
6: Life is short

“We all love ourselves more than other people, but care more about their opinion than our own.” — Marcus Aurelius

Never stop doing your best just because someone is not giving you credit.

PS:  The smart people say this is what Marcus really looked like, based on the science, etc.
