8 inches?
What comes to mind?

A surgeon’s scalpel, a standard pencil, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, curved knitting needles,  an average typical banana, pliers, a kitchen knife, even 8 quarters lined up in a row.

8 inches are in our life every day…but remember:
