Thanks…but no thanks

47 years ago, I got a “no thank you” letter for a job I applied for.
I was just a kid applying for a big job…but got a letter (no email then…duh).
They took the time to write, actually sign and mail the note just to tell me…no.

Today, 3 out of 4 job seekers do NOT hear back from a company where they applied for a job. The lesson:  Saying “No Thanks” is just as important as saying “Thanks”. Ask anyone who’s trying to move up with a company.

PS: YES, I did keep the letter. ;0)

a job rejection letter from 1976 as a thought starter from a daily blog thinking that saying "no thank you" is as important as saying YES.
