But it’s genuine (in an artificial way)

Authenticity is hard. Look around,  our world is filled with “Genuine Imitation”.
Brands, paintings, photos, software, cars, comedians, logos, restaurants, games, memes, tech, bands.  
Intelligence (of the artificial type).  Even maple syrup?

One thought: Be yourself.  An original is always worth more than a copy, even though “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” …per Oscar Wilde
