You need to do it longer

Some challenging news: we have not been trying long enough.

Psychology experts say it takes 66 days to form a new habit.  
Science shows the “21 days”  we’ve been told repeatedly is just a myth. That’s just a starting point.

History note:  the original 21 days time frame came from a cosmetic surgeon in the 1950’s concerning how long it took nose-job patients to accept their new look.

It takes 66 days of focus, commitment, action steps and conviction to overcome obstacles. 

Note to self:  This is even true for forming most habits…including the bad ones.   cheers
