Follow the data?

Okay medical folk and data heads. Here are the stats of two 5-miles runs I did the weekend; using the same course. How did I run 2-minutes faster in one, and use less calories? Is it: bad iPhone data? Better stride? (data points show no change) or an I just building a beast? (Im hoping that one) the moral: don’t always trust the data, trust your heart and instincts.
