Well, did YOU see it?

Define Disappointment
Comet C/2023 A3 was only 44 million miles away, AND visible to the naked eye.  
It only comes around every 80,000 years, so our first change to see it since the ice age.
You could see its tail, as it moved 181,000 miles per hour.
Gravity, solar winds, heat and more could have destroyed it before seeing it.
How about clouds?
Life is full of disappointments, and I just added to the list.  
Suspense or disappointment, which is worse?
