K9 Veterans Day (3/13)

Our first 4-legged veterans started in the role around 600 BC.

Today, we have about 50,000 K9 police dogs and about 1,600 in the US military.

I’ve only ever had the pleasure to know one:  Socks, a very friendly yellow Lab.
She patrolled the University of Pennsylvania.
I met her near the university’s tennis courts.
A very good girl who loved chasing tennis balls.
